Washing and maintenance: All microfiber cloths should be washed before first use. Do not use water-thinning detergents, i.e. zeolite-containing laundry detergents or separate fabric softeners. We highly recommend a special detergent for microfibers, such as King Carthur Microfiber Wash . When Black Diamond gets dirty, it is recommended to wash it at 40°C and use a program suitable for synthetic fibers. After washing, the cloth can be dried either by hanging it or in a dryer using a program suitable for synthetic fibers.
NOTE! Do not wash the cloth with microfibre cloths or applicators used for waxing, as the wax released from them may clog the cloth. Do not use fabric softener, as this may reduce the absorbency of the cloth. If the absorbency has decreased, it is usually due to the fibres becoming clogged. In this case, you should try washing the cloth at 60°C using a special detergent for microfibre cloths.
