Massive (70 x 120 cm) drying cloth that absorbs liters of water! Very soft and gentle structure with seamless edges. Weight 800 g/m².

King Carthur Blue Sapphire is a massive (70 x 120 cm) and absorbent drying cloth that dries even larger surfaces at once effectively. The cloth's dense and very soft microfiber knit makes it very gentle, and these combined with the high polyamide content (30%) ensure worry-free drying of even the most delicate surfaces. Blue Sapphire is up to three times the size of a conventional drying cloth (70 x 120 cm). Thanks to its massive size, the cloth absorbs liters of water and thus allows you to dry even several cars without creasing in between. If you are looking for the largest possible drying cloth, Blue Sapphire is your choice!

The cloth is gentler with seamless edges and no sewn-in washcloth, which can cause unwanted marks on the paint surface when rubbed against it. Drying with this cloth is easiest done by simply patting or sliding the cloth against the surface. The cloth weighs 800 g/m².

Dude's comment: "King Carthur Blue Sapphire is a drying cloth of such a size that you could easily mistake it for a blanket. This one is massive! The cloth's seamless edges, extremely soft texture and good absorbency make drying easy and safe. Thanks to its massive size, it can easily dry even a larger car without creasing in between. If you want the largest possible drying cloth, you should choose this one! I can't help but recommend it."

Autodude Quick Guide

Microfiber cloths are almost always machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If you wash a microfiber cloth with other laundry, it is best to put it in a separate laundry bag so that the cloth does not rub and wear other laundry or collect lint from it. We recommend using a detergent specifically designed for microfibers, such as King Carthur Microfiber Wash , to clean the cloth properly and keep it as dense and absorbent as possible.

If you use a normal laundry detergent, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as cloths used for waxing, for example, to prevent wax residue from the cloths from clogging the drying cloth.

It is advisable to wash your microfiber cloth regularly so that the cloth is cleaned at the washing temperature specified on the care label. The temperature usually varies between 30-60 degrees. A very dirty microfiber cloth may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a higher washing temperature than the washing instructions. However, using a higher temperature than the washing instructions has its risks, especially microfiber cloths that are washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
