King Carthur Glass Polish is a light-cutting glass polish that can be used to remove even the most stubborn dirt particles from glass surfaces that cannot be removed with ordinary glass cleaner. The product is especially suitable for use before applying a coating, when in addition to cleaning dirt, you also want to remove old coating, limescale residues, water spots and other deposits from the glass. When used with a machine, the product also removes small scratches, improving the optics of the glass, and thus also improving visibility and driving safety. Old glass coatings, stubborn dirt residues and all other dirt on the glass prevent the new coating from adhering to the surface. With nano-sized abrasive particles and citric acid-based cleaning ingredients, Glass Polish deeply cleans the glass surface and prepares it for coating. The substance can also be safely used on driver's side windows, as it does not cause any distortion to the surface.
Glass Polish provides a perfectly clean surface for the coating, thus ensuring maximum adhesion and durability. The polish can be applied either by hand or with a polishing machine. When used by hand, the surface can be cleaned, but when used mechanically with a felt pad, the product also removes fine scratches. Suitable for use on both tempered and regular glass surfaces. The product is therefore suitable for use not only on car windows but also at home for cleaning glass surfaces.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
By hand: Add the product to a microfiber cloth or wax applicator, apply the product vertically and horizontally to the glass, applying light pressure. Carefully go over the entire area to be treated, remove any product residue from the glass with e.g. King Carthur Final Cleaner and check the result of the work. Repeat if necessary.
By machine: Make sure the surface is completely clean. Apply 2-4 drops of polishing compound to a felt pad intended for glass polishing. Work an area of approx. 30 x 30 cm at a time. Apply the compound to the surface in small circles, then increase the speed by approx. 2-3 steps and increase pressure. Work the compound until it starts to disappear from the surface and/or the scratches have disappeared. Repeat if necessary. Finally, remove any remaining compound from the glass with e.g. King Carthur Final Cleaner .
Shake well before use. Do not use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
