King Carthur All Purpose Cloth is a high-quality and very versatile microfiber cloth with an unlimited number of uses. One side of the cloth has a soft and plush long-pile hair, which is excellent for, for example, polishing or cleaning delicate surfaces. The other side of the cloth has a short-pile hair, which is suitable for, for example, cleaning various interior surfaces or cleaning exterior details. All Purpose Cloth is designed to be as gentle as possible, and its seamless structure and lack of washcloths allow the cloth to be used carefree on any surface without fear of scratching. In addition, the cloth's high polyamide content makes it exceptionally soft, smooth and slippery, which makes it extremely gentle on the surface being treated and makes working fast and enjoyable. The cloth is 50 x 50 cm in size, so it is also ideal for storing in the glove compartment of a car, for example, so it can be used whenever needed.
The double-sided structure is also suitable for wiping off the coating: Start wiping with the long-pile side of the cloth, which gently removes most of the residue. Turn the cloth to reveal the short-pile side and finish the surface completely clean.
Microfiber cloths are almost always machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If you wash a microfiber cloth with other laundry, it is best to put it in a separate laundry bag so that the cloth does not rub and wear other laundry or collect lint from it. We recommend using a detergent specifically designed for microfibers, such as King Carthur Microfiber Wash , to clean the cloth properly and keep it as dense and absorbent as possible.
If you use a normal laundry detergent, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as cloths used for waxing, for example, to prevent wax residue from the cloths from clogging the drying cloth.
It is advisable to wash your microfiber cloth regularly so that the cloth is cleaned at the washing temperature specified on the care label. The temperature usually varies between 30-60 degrees. A very dirty microfiber cloth may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a higher washing temperature than the washing instructions. However, using a higher temperature than the washing instructions has its risks, especially microfiber cloths that are washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
