King Carthur Red Ruby Gen2 is an amazingly soft and gentle polishing cloth, which takes its place among the best polishing cloths. The length and density of its fibers are optimized for polishing car wax. The velvety soft touch is gentle on the paint surface. Featuring seamless edges, the majestic Red Ruby has a plush 650 g/m² strength, which ensures that the cloth does not clog in the middle of polishing.

Microfiber cloths are almost always machine washable and should always be washed before the first use. If the microfiber cloth is washed together with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate laundry bag, so that the cloth cannot rub and wear out other laundry or collect lint from them. When washing cloths, we recommend using a detergent specifically intended for microfiber, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, so that the cloth can be cleaned properly and kept as thick and absorbent as possible.
If normal laundry detergent is used, it must be ensured that the substance does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and a separate fabric softener must not be used. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used in waxing, so that the wax residue coming off the cloths does not support the drying cloth.
It is recommended to wash the microfiber cloth regularly so that the cloth is cleaned at the washing temperature according to the washing labels. Usually the temperature varies between 30 and 60 degrees. A microfiber cloth that has gotten very dirty may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a washing temperature higher than the given washing instructions to be cleaned. However, using a temperature higher than the washing instructions has its risks, especially microfiber cloths washed at a low temperature of 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
