The King Carthur Premium Microfiber Wash Mitt has now been updated to an even better GEN2 version! The wash mitt is as gentle, durable and versatile as its predecessor, and it can handle both gentle maintenance washing and thorough cleaning with solvents with ease! As a new feature, a 2 cm thick foam layer has been added to the mitt, which makes it even more absorbent and washing becomes even easier, as the mitt does not need to be soaked in the wash bucket as often, but instead absorbs a huge amount of wash water!
The synthetic fringes on the microfiber glove are gentle on the paint surface almost like a washing glove made of sheep hair, but the most significant advantage of microfiber is its durability, both against wear and chemicals. When using a washing glove, dirt particles, such as invisibly small sand dust, end up inside the glove, unlike when using a sponge, which does not absorb dirt, but the dirt remains between the paint surface and the sponge, causing scratches. If you want to buy just one glove that you can use to treat both wax shampoos and solvents, this is your choice! In addition, the GEN2 glove has received a so-called "facelift", meaning its appearance has been updated to be even more stylish. Enjoy washing moments with a Premium-class glove that leaves behind nothing but perfect cleanliness!
KC's microfiber gloves are machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If the glove is washed with other laundry, it is best to put it in a separate laundry bag , so that it does not rub and wear other laundry or collect lint from it. We recommend using a detergent specifically designed for microfiber when washing the gloves, such as King Carthur Microfiber Wash , to clean the glove properly and keep it as dense and absorbent as possible.
If you use a normal laundry detergent, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. It is not a good idea to wash washing gloves at the same time as, for example, waxing cloths, so that wax residue from the cloths does not stick to the gloves.
It is advisable to wash your wash mitt regularly so that it is cleaned at the washing temperature specified on the washing label. The temperature usually varies between 30-60 degrees. A very dirty wash mitt may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a higher washing temperature than the washing instructions. However, using a higher temperature than the washing instructions has its risks, especially gloves that are washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
