King Carthur Premium Wash Pad is a high-quality and absorbent wash pad, popular with professionals, with a gentle microfiber structure suitable for both regular maintenance washes and thorough washes with solvents. The soft microfiber fringes of the pad are gentle on the paint surface and thanks to the long, synthetic fringes, dirt particles that come off the paint surface end up inside it, unlike when using a traditional sponge, which causes dirt to roll between the paint surface and the sponge, causing scratches. The structure of the Premium Wash Pad is designed down to every detail to achieve the best possible washing result, and for this reason, a 2 cm thick foam layer has also been added inside, which makes it more absorbent than many other wash pads. In addition, the seamless structure guarantees that scratches will not occur even on the most sensitive surfaces!
KC's microfiber products are machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If the wash pad is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate laundry bag , so that it does not rub and wear other laundry or collect lint from it. We recommend using a detergent specifically designed for microfiber when washing the wash pad, such as King Carthur Microfiber Wash , to clean it properly and keep it as dense and absorbent as possible.
If you use a normal laundry detergent, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. It is not recommended to wash the wash pad at the same time as, for example, waxing cloths, so that wax residue from the cloths does not stick to the pad.
It is advisable to wash the wash pad regularly so that it is cleaned at the washing temperature specified on the washing label. The temperature usually varies between 30-60 degrees. A very dirty wash pad may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a higher washing temperature than the washing instructions. However, using a higher temperature than the washing instructions has its risks, especially since microfiber products that are washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
